  • Aquaforest Reef Salt is a sea salt of the highest quality, created for all reef aquariums, even the most demanding ones.

The composition of micro- and macro-elements, refined over the years, provides optimal conditions for underwater life. It will be perfect for both demanding aquariums with a predominance of SPS corals, and for breeding less demanding soft corals, or LPS. Reef Salt now offers an even better composition and improved formula. It has been enriched with unique ingredients that promote coral health and growth. It contains amino acids that play a significant role in coral growth and polyps. The addition of vitamin C, on the other hand, positively influences the immunity and overall condition of all aquarium inhabitants. The undoubted advantage of Aquaforest Reef Salt is its solubility, which makes the preparation of seawater much easier and faster. After just a few minutes, the brine prepared with Reef Salt is ready for use in the aquarium.

Aquaforest Reef Salt is the best choice for marine aquarium enthusiasts who value high quality and consistent composition of sea salt. Our experienced team of professionals performs the analysis of each batch of product using two ICP-OES spectrometers. One to test the micronutrient content, the other to test the macronutrient content. This is all to verify that the chemical composition is within a constant range and at the same time exclude the presence of unwanted contaminants. The test results are available online for each customer, guaranteeing the highest quality and consistency of the product. When you choose Aquaforest, you are assured that the ingredients used in production come from reliable sources and are safe for use in marine aquariums. Aquaforest products are manufactured in the EU under strict laboratory supervision to meet the highest quality standards. Each product is prepared from carefully selected raw ingredients in quantities that ensure consistent composition.

How to use Aquaforest Reef Salt

    1. Start with demineralized water, which should have a temperature of about 24° C (75° F).
    2. for a salinity of 33 ppt (1.025 S.G.), add about 390 g (13.75 oz.) of salt to 10 l (2.7 US gal) of water.

3.Stir vigorously for about 15 minutes until the salt dissolves completely and the water becomes clear.

    1. check the resulting salinity with a refractometer before use.
    2. ready! The salt water is ready for use.

Remember to store the salt in a dry and dark place.

After dissolving the salt should be used within 3 days.

Evaporation can change the parameters of the water, so store freshly mixed salt water in a tightly closed container if you don’t use it right away.

If you store salt for several days, recheck its salinity before using it.

Thorough testing and quality control of our marine salt range

Worth knowing: Aquaforest products are manufactured in the EU under strict laboratory supervision to meet the highest quality standards. Each product is prepared from carefully selected raw components in quantities proven to yield consistent compositi on.

How is our Marine Salt product range tested?

We mix our marine salt in batches of 1 metric ton (2204 pounds), and 3 separate samples are taken at the production stage for testing.

Each of these samples is dissolved in 15 liters (4 US gal) of RO water.

Our experienced team of professionals performs ICP-OES analysis to verify that the chemical composition is within a consistent range while ruling out the presence of unwanted contaminants.
