Vetafarm Wormout Gel

Wormout Gel is used for total worm control in caged and aviary birds. It contains rapidly acting ingredients for a complete and safe kill of intestinal worms in an easy, in-water treatment or direct dose via a crop needle.
Wormout Gel effectively kills all intestinal worms including Thread Worm (Capillaria spp.), Tapeworm (Raillietina spp., Choanotaenia spp.), Roundworm (Ascaridia spp.), Caecal Worm (Heterakis gallinarum), Hook Worm (Acuaria spp.).
This in-drinking water treatment can be mixed with a small amount of orange juice for fussy drinkers or given via a direct crop needle dose.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
NOT TO BE USED on birds intended for human consumption.
Each pump delivers 1mL (1L bottle delivers 2mL per pump).
Drinking water dose: Dilute Wormout Gel with water at the recommended dose rate and provide this as the sole source of water for 2 days.
All aviary birds- Add 2mL of Wormout Gel to 160mL of drinking water.
Pigeons - Add 2mL of Wormout Gel to 320mL of drinking water. Repeat once every 3 months.
Crop Needle Dose: Use a small syringe for accurate dosing. Carefully dilute
1mL of Wormout Gel in 9mLs of water to make 10mL of ‘stock solution’
Give 0.5mL of stock solution per 100g body weight. Give treatment once only. Repeat once every 3 months.

Aristopet Wormer for Ornamental Birds

Roundworm infestation can be associated with weight loss, poor appetite, retarded growth, diarrhoea and severe debilitation.
Active Ingredients
50g/L Piperazine Citrate
How to Use
Add 1mL of Bird Wormer per 15mL of drinking water. Medicated drinking water should then be administered for 3 days. Repeat treatment after 14 days to prevent re-infestation.
For optimum results, withhold drinking water for 12 hours before treatment. Calculate the dose rate to the volume of drinking water required. If worm problem persists contact a veterinary surgeon.
NOTE: Do not give plain water whilst medicated water is being administered. Withhold green foods for the duration of treatment. NOT TO BE USED in food-producing birds
Can I use this Bird Wormer in my chickens?
Do not use the Bird Wormer on your chickens if you intend to eat their eggs. There is minimal data about the residue of the ingredients effects on humans.
We suggest using the Aristopet Animal Health Poultry Wormer for your chickens instead.

Easy to use, just add the recommended dose to your bird's water.
Active Ingredients
- 10mg /ml Levamisole Hydrochloride
- 2mg/ml Praziquantel
How to use
Dilute by adding 25mL to 1L of drinking water or 0.5mL (10 drops) to 20mL of water. Use this as the sole source of drinking water for 24 hours. Repeat treatment after 14 days.
Medicated drinking water should be freshly made before dosing.
Further dilution may be required in hot weather to compensate for increased water consumption. If worm problems persist, consult a veterianary surgeon.
Can I use the Worming Syrup plus Praziquantel in my chickens?
This product is not intended for use with birds that produce eggs or meat for human consumption. There is minimal data available on the residue and withholding times of the ingredients, as well as their effects on humans. We recommend using the Aristopet Animal Health Poultry Wormer for your chickens instead.
