Aquarium Setup: Provide a well-planted aquarium with plenty of hiding places to offer relief from light. A smooth sand or fine gravel substrate is essential to prevent damage to their sensitive barbels. Maintaining a school of six or more individuals is ideal for their social well-being.
Feeding: As omnivores, Adolfoi Corys thrive on a varied diet that includes high-quality flake and pellet foods, as well as live or frozen foods such as brine shrimp and worms. Regularly offering a diverse diet will ensure optimal health and coloration.
Breeding: Breeding can be achieved by maintaining a group of the same species and allowing natural pairing. Success has been noted in environments with lower water levels and a hardness (dH) below 6. After spawning, it's advisable to remove the adults to prevent egg predation. Fry can be fed a variety of finely crushed dried foods and baby brine shrimp.
