While we make every effort to ensure that our online stock levels are accurate and up to date, some products—particularly those that are perishable or subject to daily changes—may vary in availability. This includes livestock, fish, corals, and both fresh and frozen foods. Due to the nature of these items and their dependence on factors such as shipment schedules, health status, and in-store demand, availability can change rapidly and may not always be reflected in real time on our website.
To avoid disappointment, we strongly encourage customers to confirm the availability of these products before placing an order or visiting In-Store. You can do this easily by using the "Ask a Question" tab on the product page or by calling us directly on 0460 961 696 .

Aquarium Setup:
Best kept in groups of 6 or more in aquariums of at least 40 litres. Danios thrive in tanks with open swimming space, gentle to moderate current, and a secure lid—these fish are notorious jumpers! Danios are low-maintenance and incredibly adaptable, making them ideal for cycling new tanks. While small, they are bold and often among the first to investigate new things in the aquarium. Provide a varied diet and keep in lively schools to encourage natural behaviours.
Care Tips:
✔ Always keep in groups of 6+ to reduce stress and aggression
✔ Use a secure lid to prevent jumping
✔ Offer high-quality flakes and frozen food for best health
✔ Provide flow to mimic their natural habitat
✔ Include plants and driftwood for resting and cover
Compatibility:
Ideal tankmates for most peaceful community fish including tetras, rasboras, livebearers, Corydoras, and gouramis. Avoid pairing with slow-moving or long-finned species that may be bothered by their energy.

Widely available in Australia in a range of colours and fin types. Often sold as mixed assortments, perfect for those looking for variety and activity.
